What Is Homeschool day?

This special event is offered one day a year and open to families who homeschool. Plan early if you would like your students to join the fun! Please send us an email at to coordinate a trip and receive special pricing. One person is required to be in charge of all correspondence. Groups must have a minimum of 20 guests.

What’s Included In a Homeschool Trip?

Activities that are included with general admission are also available for homeschool students. Field trips are self-guided. Groups will be able to explore our fairgrounds which includes agritourism based activities such as Corn Maze, Animal Feeding Zoo, Corn Stalk Tunnel, Pirate Ship, Tractor Ride, Pig Races, Hay Mazes, Pumpkin Bowling, Rubber Duck Racing, Horse Bouncers, Corn Hole, Tire Mountain, Pedal Carts, Sand Cranes, Bean Bag Toss, Tetherball, Spider Web, Observation Bridge, and Horse Swings.

How Much Does It Cost?

$18 per person. All attendees require an admission ticket (students, chaperones, teachers, etc.). A deposit is required. The balance will be paid when groups arrive for their field trip. To make payment, please bring cash or check with you on the day of your visit.

Teaching Resources

Hands-on learning experiences are always best when students have been prepared for what they are about to encounter and are able to then discuss what they learned afterwards. Students will be guided by our educational signs and interactive video in our Bee Barn.
